Gala Oscar 2018: “The Shape of Water”, cel mai bun film

Cea de-a 90-a ediție a Premiilor Academiei Americane de Film, cele mai importante distincţii ale cinematografiei, s-a desfăşurat la Teatrul Dolby din Los Angeles, o ediţie marcată de discursuri antihărţuire şi antidiscriminare.

“The Shape of Water” a obținut Oscarul pentru cel mai bun film. Mexicanul Guillermo del Toro a câștigat, totodată, trofeul pentru regie. Acţiunea lungmetrajului se petrece într-o bază secretă din America anilor ’60, unde o femeie de serviciu singură ajunge să aibă o relaţie unică cu o stranie creatură hominidă, ţinută în captivitate. “The Shape of Water” a fost recompensat şi pentru “cea mai bună coloană sonoră”, prin Alexandre Desplat.

Americanca Frances McDormand (“Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri”) și englezul Gary Oldman (“Darkest Hour”) au cucerit trofeele pentru cei mai bun actori în roluri principale.

Sam Rockwell a fost desemnat “cel mai bun actor în rol secundar”, pentru interpretarea din “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri”, în regia lui Martin McDonagh. Allison Janney s-au impus în cursa rolurilor secundare feminine, grație prestației din “I, Tonya“.

“Blade Runner 2049” a primit trofeele pentru “cea mai bună imagine” și “cele mai bune efecte vizuale” (John Nelson, Gerd Nefzer, Paul Lambert & Richard R Hoover).

Competiția scenariilor a fost câștigată de “Get Out” (scenariu original) și “Call Me by Your Name” (scenariu adaptat).

“Icarus”, în care regizorul Bryan Fogel analizează problema dopajului în sport, a fost desemnat “cel mai bun documentar”.

“Coco”, povestea unui băiat care vrea să devină cântăreț, s-a impus la categoria “cea mai bună animație”. Melodia “Remember Me“, de pe coloana sonoră a producției, în interpretarea Kristenei Anderson-Lopez și a lui Robert Lopez, a câștigat un Oscar pentru cel mai bun cântec original.

“The Shape of Water”, marele favorit (cu 13 nominalizări), a cucerit premiul pentru “cel mai bun design de producție”.

Trofeul pentru “cele mai bune costume” i-a revenit producției “Phantom Thread”, iar cel pentru machiaj şi coafuri peliculei “Darkest Hour“.

“Dunkirk” a primit premiile pentru “cel mai bun montaj de film”, “cel mai bun sunet” și “cel mai bun mixaj de sunet”.

Producția chiliană “Una mujer fantástica” a obţinut trofeul categoriei “cel mai bun film într-o limbă străină alta decât engleză”.
